How do we work?

Our approach reflects this: we make it easy and satisfying for users to do what they want to do, while engaging them in what you want them to do. It is a pragmatic, realistic approach that balances the advantages of user-centric design against real-world commercial needs.
We use informed and thorough processes to drive every project. Your users become a part of the process, and we work hard to listen to them properly and understand their needs. At the same time, we really get to know your organisation and its marketplace to understand its needs and opportunities. It sounds simple, but it is rarely put into practice elsewhere.
This broadly-considered approach forms the basis for all of work, and we naturally vary the methods we use to suit the scale and complexity of the project concerned. We have worked on projects large and small, for organisations across many sectors. What can we help with?
Well, let's start with what we don't do. We're not a banner ad factory or a marketing shop that thinks Flash is the solution to everything. We don't specialise in short-lived campaigns or short-term thinking.
Almost everything we do has to last: to form the basis of an organisations' online activities for a long time. We're an excellent long-term partner too: some online projects take years to achieve their aims via a series of phases or generations (sometimes due to scale, more often due to politics or legacy systems), and we know how to go the distance. We're equally comfortable working on projects that need to be delivered in weeks, and delivering results just as quickly.
