Working with us:

We're looking for talented people to work with us on great projects.

We're always looking for talented people to work with us. The common attributes we look for are self-motivation, plenty of experience, lots of skill, and a positive, lively, professional attitude.

We are based in a friendly studio in Hoxton, London N1.

Right now, we need:

A senior web designer.

We need a quality thinker who can deliver equally well. We want someone who can help us design client sites that weave structure, visual language, ease of use and accessibility to all audiences into meaningful solutions.

You don't need coding skills, but an appreciation of the development implications of your work is essential so that our developers will like you. You need brand sensitivity, an awareness of the impact of architecture and visual language on each other and the end customer, and an appreciation of market trends and accessibility requirements. Look at the sort of work we do, then think how you'd do it better: that's what we're looking for - someone who adds to what we have.

We expect you to have a decent degree, at least four or five years experience working on quality sites (which you can show to us), and to be responsible, organised and self-sufficient.

This is a full-time position on a permanent contract available immediately. Salary to be agreed based on what you're capable of and what you've done.

A senior developer.

We always have lots of top-notch html work to do. We create templates and html toolkits for most of our clients and we're looking for someone who can help us deliver great code.

Everything we do is xhtml 1.0 strict or 1.1, and to AAA accessibility standards. Crucially, we only do CSS-based layouts, so you'll need to be able to demonstrate that you can take complex design layouts and deliver code to pixel-perfect standards using a pure CSS approach. In-page formatting is considered evil here and using tables for layout is a straight hanging offence.

You'll also have excellent Javascript ability of course. PHP or other development languages would be useful, but is not a deciding factor: Brains, skill, speed and accuracy are.

You'll be able to demonstrate your skills on completed projects, and to understand how to code to the highest standards for a wide range of browsers cross-platform. We need someone who can deliver quickly, accurately and in an organised manner, and we will probably ask you to do a test for us to show us what you can do if we like the look of you.

You have to be able to communicate well (both with your fellow team members and our clients) and be able to trouble-shoot issues with your own code and that of other people, since we hand over our code to clients and their partners and we often have to help them solve problems quickly and efficiently.

This is a full-time position on a permanent contract available immediately. Salary to be agreed based on what you're capable of and what you've done.
