Mark originally trained as an architect, and undertook his first commercial interactive project in 1990. Since then he has directed hundreds of projects delivered as installations, CD-ROM, and online environments.
Mark's role in Wilson Fletcher is focused on strategy. He helps our clients shape their activities, generate ideas, and develop appropriate design solutions.
Stephanie's background was in information design and identity before focusing on interactive work in 1997. She has since designed a wide range of online environments for leading organisations.
Steph directs our creative work. She helps our clients align their brand ambition with their customers' expectations through intelligent, sophisticated design solutions.
Alongside our founders, our team has a wealth of experience in shaping and delivering top-flight online design. No-one has less than five years' experience at the highest level, and our skills span strategic analysis through information architecture and visual creativity to coding and development support.
We are a small team of specialists: we employ people for their strengths and they join to be able to do what they do best. Our designers design, and our developers develop: this may sound obvious, but it is in stark contrast with many agencies, where a 'web designer' is a jack-of-all-trades. There are real advantages to our approach from a higher-quality end result to a more satisfied team.
We believe that the best projects are delivered by small, motivated teams not large mediocre ones. Our largest site to date runs to over half-a-million pages, and everyone here is capable of thinking and resolving problems on that scale. Our smallest site was a single-page redesign and we enjoyed that just as much.
We're confident that between us we have the skills to solve anything you can throw at us.
