What do we offer?
A truly comprehensive evaluation can provide information on your site that cannot be obtained any other way. In particular, by observing people using your site, you gain an unequalled insight into real-world behaviour and the effect that your site design has on the people it is aimed at.
Our custom solutions are run in collaboration with our partners Bunnyfoot, who manage two key specialist activities in addition to the services found in our advanced service (focus groups typically replace the online user assessment):
- Focus groups: observing small groups of your target customers (both using your site naturally and carrying out pre-defined scenarios) can be terrifying, but is highly instructive. Often, blindingly obvious (and therfore almost invisible) issues are identified that have been missed using other methods. Equally, ideas are generated that can lead to substantial service improvements.
- Lab testing: using sophisticated eye-tracking technology, you see how easy the page designs of your site are to navigate. Combined with scenarios, this gives a good indication of where customers expect certain on-screen elements to be.
What do we deliver?
We present back a comprehensive printed report that collates all the findings into our 3-step format:
- Issue: what the problem is.
- Effect: how it will affect you or your customers.
- Recommendation: what you can do about it.
In addition, we provide detailed reports from focus groups, video recordings of the groups themselves (where permitted) and video footage of the lab testing activities (which can be fascinating). This ensures that you can easily share the knowledge gained with others in your organisation.
Of course, we will happily present a summary of the programme back to you, and will provide you with multi-format copies of all materials on
CD or
DVD as appropriate.
